GAEC is a centre that is dedicated to teaching the Arabic language to the children of Arabic families in the area. However, GAEC also serves as a focal point for the community to further engender a spirit of belonging to a rich culture. This aspect is further enhanced by the presence of such a wide range of pan-Arabic cultures.

We regularly meet at the local community centres for social gatherings. Although these gatherings sometimes fall on religious events, they are not exculsive to such events, as we are always looking for an excuse to allow the children to have a good time outside the framework of school-work.
